Scientific Name - Acacia glaucoptera Bentham

Synonyms -

Distribution and Habitat - endemic in south-western Australia.

Description - erect shrub or prostrat, 1.5 m tall. Branchlets straight, glabrous. Stipules persistent or caduceus. Phyllodes forming opposite wings, 2.5-7 x 0.6-2 cm, coriaceous, glaucous, glabrous except axils densely tomentulose; free portion of phyllode usually 1-4 cm long, acute to shortly acuminate. Inflorescences racems, peduncles 3-18 mm long, glabrous; heads globular, 5-6 mm diam., 30-80 flowered, golden, 5-merous. Pods irregularly twisted, 2 x 0.2-0.3 cm.

Tolerances - tolerate temperatures to -7 ° C.
