Alpine Botanical Garden Oriental Nevegal

Botanical Garden was founded by naturalist Francesco '50 years Caldart.

Today is a Natural Reserve is managed by the Italian State Forestry Corps. It is located on the western slope of Mount Faverghera, in an area with limestone rocks and comprises 6.5 ha of land.

Botanic Garden includes 800 plant species in spring mountain, subalpine and alpine, including several endemic species such as Paederota bonarotam Physoplexis Comos, Leontopodium alpinum, Rhododendron ferrugineum, Vaccinium myrtillus, Daphne striped daonensis Primula, Gentiana punctata, Nigritella nigra.
