Bellium L. is a genus of the family Asteraceae (tribe Astereae, subtrib Bellidinae), very close to the genus Bellis L. Bellium artrutxensis is a new species of the Balearic Islands. Bellium artrutxensis is an annual species, 2-6 cm high, very little strain, neramificata, root thin, fibrous leaves are arranged in basal rosette, spatulate, obtuse or rounded top, side languages is full, long petiole. Capitulum-type inflorescences solitary stalk of 2-5,5 cm long, pubescent. Low altitudes increases in the calcareous soil. The new species was found in association with other annual species such as Arenaria leptoclados Guss., Campanula Erinus L. Crucianella angustifolia L., Euphorbia exigua L. Filago pyramid L., Galium murale All., Plantago bellardii All., Tuberar take guttata Fourr., Valantia muralis L.
