Distribution and Habitat - originally from Mexico and Central America.

Description - evergreen shrub, 1.2 m high. Strain with 4 edges. Leaves opposite, membranous, soft, dark green upper side and reddish on the underside, nervatiune obvious, limb oblong-lanceolata, margin entire, top acute, base cuneata, 8-12 x 20-30 cm. Cime axillary inflorescences. Calyx with 4 SEPA. Corola campanulata, petals oblong, slightly nested. Stamens inserted on corolla tube, anther erect. Fruit Baca.

Requirements - fertile, moist, well drained, with semi-shaded exhibition. Optimal temperatures are 16-29 ˚ C. High ambient humidity.

Management - must wetsummer and winter rarely attend. Monthly apply liquid fertilizers.

Propagation - by seedlings, spring, place the sand rooted in peat at a temperature of 21 ˚ C.

Pests and diseases - if the leaves fall prematurely is a sign of low ambient humidity. If burns occur on the edges of the leaves means it is exposed to direct sunlight.
