Summer is over, tree fruits are baked, leaves have golden and ruby shades, the sky is overcast and in the air floats a clammy smell of autumn.

Do not forget plants yet, because they are still need you. Even though spring and summer seem far than ever, now is the time to make a garden project for the coming year. It's perfect time to divide bushes Paeonia sp., Iris sp. and transplanting them.

Delicate bulbs of species of Canna, Crocosmia, Dahlia, Gladiolus, should be made to shelter in winter and dark airy places. Narcissus bulbs should be planted in September - October because they need a longer period of root formation. Are planted at a depth of 5-8 cm. Tulip bulbs are planted at a depth of 20 cm for sandy land and 12-15 cm in clayey ground. The land must be irigated before and after planting, then continue watering until the first frost. Bulbs of Hyacinths are planted at a depth of 8-12 cm. In warmer areas bulbs are planted in October - November, and in areas with low temperatures are planted from September to October. For better resistance in winter, land must be mixed with organic compost. Lily bulbs are planted at a depth of 24-36 cm, but it varies depending on the species and hybrids. Lilies do not need daily watering, but be sure that water reaches to the bulb.

A tree that helps landscape beautification, both summer and autumn, is Acer palmatum. It prefers sun or shade and a slightly acidic ground. Shrub voluble most spectacular is Parthenocissus quinquefolia.

Colchicum blooms from late summer to winter, flowers pop up before the leaves and adapts well to wild environments. Viola wittrockiana blooms from autumn to june next year, and reaches the maximum blossoming in the spring season. They prefer sunny areas, but cool.

Warm colors of chrysanthemum warms our eyes, and their flowers accompany us in the winter... This may be the most beloved flowers in autumn.

Lord: it is time. The summer was immense.
Let thine shadows upon the sundials fall,
and unleash the winds upon the open fields.
