Scientific name - Linaria vulgaris Mill.

Synonyms -

Distribution and Habitat - common species in Europe to Japan, grows on dry sites, along railways, in sunny exhibitions, from 0 to 1500 m altitude.

Description - perennial, herbaceous, with rhizome bran. Stems erect, branched in the lower half glabra, 30-90 cm high. Leaves sessile, alternate, lanceolate, linear, acute, margin revoluta, uninerve. Raceme inflorescence dense, 5 to 30 flowers. Pedicel 2-8 mm, glandular puberulent. Calyx 3-6 mm, glandular puberulent, lobes ovate to oblong lanceolate. Corolla 25-33 mm, pale yellow, spur 10-13 mm. Blooms in June-October. 5-11 x 5-7 mm fruit capsule, oblong-ovoid or spherical. Seeds2-3 mm, black. 2n = 12
