Scientific name - Paederota bonarota L.

Synonyms - bonarota Veronica L.

Popular names - common bonarota.

Distribution and Habitat - originally from Austria, Italy and Slaven, grows in rock fissures, up to 1500-2600 m altitude.

Description - herbaceous perennial. Pendence strain, simple, 7-20 cm long. Leaves opposite, simple, 1.5-3 cm x 7-20 mm, sub-round-ovata, margine with 3.9 pairs of teeth, sharp peak. Blossom Raceme terminal, 2-4 cm long, densely pubescent, bracts present. Calyx with 5 lobes unequal. Corola 10-13 mm, blue-purple, 1-1.3 cm cylindrical tube, 2-labat languages, the entire upper lobe (rarely 2-lobate) and lower lobe 3-lobate. 2 stamens. Blooms in July-August. Loculicida capsule. Seeds numerous. 2n = 36
