Scientific Name - Parnassos palustris L.

Synonyms -

Popular names - parnassia, grass of Parnassus, hepatica blanca.

Distribution and Habitat - pa increase land peat, wet, from 300-1900 m altitude.

Description - perennial species, 10-30 cm long, glabra. Oblique rhizome, stem erect, unbranched, with five sharp edges. Fruit capsule oval, 5 x 8 mm.
