Description - ridged stems, 100 cm height. Leaves green glabrous upper side, gray on the lower tomentoase, basal leaves 20-60 x 12-15 cm, acute, the subcordata, petiole, leaf base caulinare attenuated or sublirata, Needle, Sesi. Flowers solitary, terminal, bisexual. Involucre 11 cm diameter, overall, bracts oblong-ovata. Corola red-purple. Achenes brown, Papus two times longer than the achenes, purple-brown. 2n = 26.
