Scientific name - Solanum dulcamara

Genus name is derived from solamen = comfort, for medicinal virtues.

Synonyms - Assim Solanum, Solanum lyratum, pseudopersicum Solanum, Solanum cave Solanum scandens

Popular names - weed the bad sores, lasnicior, grapes dog, beef Jew, Zarna, Dogwood, bittersweet.

Distribution and Habitat - grows on fertile land in forests, near rivers, canals and flood-prone land. Originally from Europe, Asia and North Africa

Description - voluble species, perennial. The stem can reach 2-3 m in length, based lignificata, branched. Leaves alternate, petiolate, ovat-lanceolata, acuminata peak, the cordiforme, lower leaves entire, the upper consisting, 3 folio, foliole power greater thanlateral. Panic blossom end, 10-20 flowers. Calyx campanulata, 5 sepa triangulation. Corola-lanceolata acuminata with 5 petals, blue-violet at the base with a green stain with white edges. Prior to golden-yellow. Blooms in April-July. Baca Fruit ovoid, green and then bright red.
