Scientific name - Solanum rantonnetii

Synonyms - Lycianthes rantonnetii, Solanum muticum, Solanum japonicum

Popular name - blue potato bush, potato bush, Enzianstrauch oder Kartoffelbaum, Blaw aardappelstruik, Solanum à fleurs bleues.

Distribution and Habitat - originating in Paraguay.

Description - shrub erect, 1-2 m high. Stem and branches thin. Leaves ovat-lanceolata, dark green. Flowers blue-violet and yellow in the center, 2.5 cm diameter, anther yellow. Blooms in April-August.

Growth rate --
