Viburnum x bodnantense - deciduu shrub, hybrid obtained from crossing V. Farrer with V. grandiflorum. Many strains, erect, thin, 3 m high. Bark brown or orange brown, ribbed iregulate, longitudinal, slightly deep, young branches are reddish brown, lucid, glabra. 2 x 2-3 mm buds, brown Rosietici, leading to acute subobtuz with very short hairs. Leaves decidue, simple, opposite, talkative 10.6 cm, ovata, obovata or lanceolata, top acute, edge-home-gear, the cuneata or round, with glandular hairs on both sides; nervatiuni prominent red-purple, 6-9 pairs ; petiole 15-25 mm, purple red, grooved, glabru. Blossom terminal or axillary, 8 to 35 flowers, arranged in corymb, pedicel green-yellow, with glandular hairs very short flower 8-10 mm in diameter, calyx 2-3 mm, green-yellow, glabru, tube 2 mm, 5 sepa ovata and rounded to top; Corola 9-13 mm, white with pink spots, tube 8.11 mm subrotunde petals 5, stamens 2 fertile and 3 sterile.
